Special Training Session on Brand Management for Student Entrepreneurs

On Saturday morning, students of the Entrepreneurial School are benefiting from a specialized training session in brand management, as part of a training program aimed at strengthening their skills and preparing them to meet the demands of the modern business environment.

This course is part of the school’s innovation pathway and aims to provide trainees with the theoretical knowledge and practical tools necessary to build coherent and competitive brands, thereby laying solid foundations for their future projects.

Training Workshop on “Persona” in Entrepreneurship and Project Design

We are pleased to share highlights from a rich and specialized training workshop on Persona, delivered by Dr. Wassila Zaïda, a trainer at the Business Incubator of the University of Tipaza.

ree-Planting Campaign Under the Theme “The Pulse of the Environment… The Voice of Students”

In a lively atmosphere filled with a sense of responsibility, and in an effort to instill a culture of volunteerism and strengthen environmental citizenship among students, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—“M’hamed Yazid”—organized a distinguished field tree-planting campaign under the theme: “The Pulse of the Environment… The Voice of Students.”

This initiative was carried out in coordination with the Forest Conservation Directorate of the Wilaya of Tipaza. It witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the school’s students, who engaged in planting a number of local tree species while adhering to proper environmental guidelines, in a field experience that combined learning with hands-on practice.

Participation in ORBICOM UNESCO Governance Coordination Meeting as African Representative

As part of strengthening the presence of Algerian expertise in international academic forums, Professor Khaled Lalaoui took part in the important coordination meeting of the Governance Committee of the UNESCO Chairs Network for Researchers and Professionals in Communication (ORBICOM UNESCO), held on April 9, in his capacity as representative of African researchers.

This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange expertise and ideas on issues related to the governance of this international network, as well as matters concerning the valorization of scientific research and international cooperation in the fields of media, communication, and journalism. It also aimed to enhance the position of the African continent within the global academic landscape and open promising prospects for partnerships and scientific exchange.

This qualitative participation reflects the growing dynamism of Algerian experts in various international forums and their effective contribution to advancing knowledge and strengthening cooperation in media and communication fields.

Online Training Workshop on Preparing the “Label” Certification Application File Using Artificial Intelligence Tools

“Mechanisms for Preparing the Application File to Obtain the ‘Label’ Certification Using Artificial Intelligence Tools.”

The experts focused on the following key points:

  • Understanding the requirements and criteria for obtaining the “Label” certification
  • Using artificial intelligence tools in preparing the application file
  • Writing a professional and persuasive project description
  • Building a strong presentation model that attracts evaluation committees
  • Improving the quality of file content using AI
  • Presenting the project in an effective and impactful manner
  • Avoiding common mistakes that lead to application rejection

Commemoration of the Birth Anniversary of the Late Freedom Fighter M’hamed Yazid

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the late freedom fighter M’hamed Yazid, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—proudly bearing his name—reflects on the legacy of one of Algeria’s loyal men, who devoted their lives to serving the nation and defending its just causes.

The late Mohamed Yazid was a symbol of national struggle and an authentic voice that carried the message of the Algerian Revolution to the world, believing in the power of words and their role in supporting truth and consolidating the principles of freedom and dignity. He also represented a model of commitment and responsibility, combining الفكر and struggle, as well as media and national cause.

Commemorating his memory today is both a reflection of a glorious past and a renewal of the commitment to follow in his footsteps and uphold the values he believed in and sacrificed for.

May God have mercy on the freedom fighter Mohamed Yazid, and may his memory remain alive in the conscience of generations, serving as an inspiration for all those who carry the noble mission of journalism.

Participation in the 2026 Women’s Cinema Days

The National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—“Imhamed Yazid”—participated in the activities of the “Women’s Cinema Days 2026”, which launched today in a distinguished artistic and cultural atmosphere reflecting the growing presence of women’s cinema in Algeria.

This participation comes within the framework of the cooperation and partnership agreement between the school and the Cinémathèque, and reflects its commitment to accompanying students and integrating them into cultural and artistic events, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and broadening their horizons in the fields of media and communication.

The school’s participation was further marked by a valuable intervention from Dr. Najma Zerrari, who enriched the discussion and contributed to deepening perspectives on issues related to women’s cinema. It also included active participation from members of the Scientific Club for Cinema and Theatre, whose strong presence reflected the dynamism of student life within the school.
