Library Introduction

The school library was established in 2009, coinciding with the creation of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid”. Its main objective is to meet the growing demand for research books in media and communication sciences, as well as related disciplines. Thanks to its remarkable development, the library holds a rich collection of books and titles, including more than 20,000 multidisciplinary works and over one hundred theses on research topics across various fields.

The Algerian National Digital Library (SNDL) provides access to a rich and highly diverse range of national and international electronic documents, covering all fields of education and scientific research.

 
 

The National Portal for Reporting Theses (PNST) is a platform designed to monitor national scientific output in the field of theses, in accordance with Decree No. 153 dated May 14, 2012, concerning the establishment of a central database for dissertations and theses, as well as the definition of its data collection and usage mechanisms.

 
 

DSpace is a digital system used by universities to store, organize, and publish research papers, theses, and dissertations electronically, making it easier for students and researchers to access academic resources online.

 
 

The National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid” relies on its own library management system, linked to CERIST’s external electronic catalog application. This integration allows users to search and access the library’s collection of books and documents remotely, easily, and from anywhere.
