Workshop Activities Continue – Visibility Cell

The training workshop series organized by the Visibility Enhancement and Ranking Cell of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—M’hamed Yazid—continues.

On the second day, held on May 07, 2026, a training workshop was conducted for the first time on the databases ResearchGate and Google Scholar.

This workshop aims to:

  • Enhance professors’ visibility on Academic Social Networking Sites (ASNS)
  • Build the researcher’s digital identity
  • Highlight the role of social networks in improving researchers’ impact factor (H-index)

First Defense of Innovative Projects – Academic Year 2025/2026

The National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid” has officially launched the first defenses of economic entrepreneurship projects for the academic year 2025–2026, within the framework of the Business Incubator and the Entrepreneurship Support Center, as part of its commitment to fostering innovation and student entrepreneurship.

At the school’s Business Incubator level, the project “Rahal” by student Oussama Belarbi was defended under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tiemaager Nariman. The defense committee was chaired by Dr. Joudi Kherfia and included Dr. Adnan Rachach and Dr. Amina Douida, in the presence of the economic partner representative Mr. Khaled Siasi, as well as the incubator representative Dr. Nesrine Saadoun.

At the Entrepreneurship Support Center, the project “Women’s Creative Center for Digital Content Creation and Media Training” by student Nour El Iman Bousaa was presented under the supervision of Dr. Nesrine Saadoun. The committee was chaired by Dr. Joudi Kherfia and included Dr. Adnan Rachach and Dr. Amina Douida, with the participation of the economic partner representative Mr. Khaled Siasi.

These defenses reflect the dynamic momentum within the school in the field of university entrepreneurship and its ongoing efforts to support students in transforming their ideas into innovative projects with strong economic and media potential.

Mishket Club Participation at the Student Media Forum (Continued Coverage)

The echoes of the Mishket Club’s participation, representing the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences – M’hamed Yazid, continue at the Student Media Forum hosted by Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret, as we present a new collection of photos documenting this distinguished participation.

The event, through the Scientific Clubs Exhibition, witnessed a wide student turnout of more than 24 scientific clubs from various universities across the country, in an interactive academic environment that promoted experience sharing and strengthened communication among students.

This participation reflects the school’s commitment to supporting student initiatives and encouraging openness to various national scientific and media spaces.

Mishket Club Participation in the Student Media Forum

The Mishket Club, representing the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences – Mohamed Yazid, is pleased to take part in the Scientific Clubs Exhibition organized as part of the Student Media Forum at Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret, during the welcoming day.

This participation aims to strengthen the school’s student presence and broaden opportunities for academic and media exchange. The forum gathered more than 24 scientific clubs from various provinces across the country in an interactive environment that fostered student creativity, experience sharing, and networking.

The forum continues from June 04 to 06, 2026 at the University of Tiaret, offering a promising scientific and media space that enriches student experiences and promotes initiative and innovation.

Participation of the Visibility and Ranking Committee

The Visibility and Ranking Committee of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences – Mohamed Yazid – took part today, June 03, 2026, in a training day led by Professor Boudia, a member of the National Visibility Committee, and organized by the National Higher School of Management in Kolea.

This training day is part of ongoing efforts to support higher education institutions in developing effective strategies to enhance their visibility and strengthen their positioning within global academic rankings.

The School’s Peer-Reviewed Journal Achieves ARCIF Impact Factor for 2025

The National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—M’hamed Yazid—is honored to announce that its peer-reviewed scientific journal has obtained the Arab Impact Factor and Citation Index (ARCIF) for the academic year 2025, a ranking that the journal has consistently maintained since 2019.

This recognition is considered an academic acknowledgment of the journal’s standing and leadership, as it was the first peer-reviewed journal in the field of media and communication sciences at the national level to receive this prestigious ranking from the ARCIF platform.

This achievement reflects the journal’s commitment to rigorous academic standards and contributes to strengthening the school’s presence in both the Arab and international research landscape.

Warm congratulations are extended to the journal’s editorial board, headed by Dr. Meriem Boukhari, as well as to all professors and researchers who contributed to this well-deserved scientific success.

Student Participation in Entrepreneurship Workshops on AI and Startup Creation

With great enthusiasm, our students took part in the training workshops organized today as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Dr. Samir Arjoun delivered a session on “Enterprise management through artificial intelligence tools.”
Mr. Yacine Azzzi presented a workshop on “Creating a startup.”
