Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Meeting at ENSJSI “M’hamed Yazid”

In an atmosphere reflecting creativity and ambition, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” continues its support for student innovators through the organization of a special meeting dedicated to the monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement of projects developed under Ministerial Decision 1275, as amended and supplemented by Decision 008, related to mechanisms for strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in the university environment.

This meeting provided an opportunity to showcase promising student ideas that demonstrate their ability to transform academic knowledge into viable projects with economic, social, and developmental impact, reaffirming the growing role of the university as a driver of innovation and future-building.

These student initiatives received notable media coverage from Channel Five of Algerian Television, the school’s media partner, reflecting the increasing interest in highlighting successful university experiences and showcasing young creative talents.

The event took place in the presence of the Head of the Technology and Innovation Support Center (CATI), the Head of the Business Incubator, and the Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, who emphasized the importance of providing a supportive environment for innovation and accompanying students throughout the various stages of their project development.

Entrepreneurship Training Cycle – Session with ANADE Representative

The 7th entrepreneurship training cycle at the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid” continues in collaboration with Mr. Abdel Salam Rahal, trainer and representative of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (ANADE).

During this session, the training focused on the institutional framework of ANADE, providing students with a detailed presentation of its mechanisms, support programs, and procedures aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and assisting project holders.

The trainer also took the time to answer students’ questions and clarify various points of confusion, ensuring a better understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the steps required to launch and develop viable projects.

The school extends its sincere thanks to Mr. Abdel Salam Rahal for his valuable contribution and his commitment to supporting and guiding the trainees.

Student Participation in an Academic Lecture on Green Growth and Climate Cooperation

As part of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid” openness to current international issues and its commitment to strengthening students’ presence in scientific and diplomatic spaces, the school’s students participated in the academic lecture organized by the Diplomatic Institute and International Relations, entitled: “Strengthening the Green Growth Partnership: Addressing the Sustainability Crisis and Enhancing Cooperation in Climate Change”, held at the headquarters of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The lecture was delivered by Ban Ki-moon, guest of Algeria, President of the General Assembly and the Board of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), who presented an in-depth perspective on global sustainability challenges and ways to enhance international cooperation in addressing accelerating climate change.

The visit also featured a major milestone with the official opening of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) office in Algiers, reflecting Algeria’s strong commitment to supporting sustainable development pathways, promoting the green economy, and reinforcing its role as an active partner in international environmental efforts.

This event provided a valuable opportunity for the school’s students to closely engage with international discussions on environmental and development issues, linking academic training with major global transformations.

Strengthening Academic Cooperation and Exchange Between Higher Education Institutions

As part of strengthening cooperation and exchange between higher education institutions, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “Mohamed Yazid” had the honor of receiving the Director of the Higher School of Commerce, Professor Kherchi Isshak, during an official visit to the school headquarters.

He was welcomed by the school’s Director, Professor Khaled Laalaoui. This meeting served as an opportunity to reaffirm the strong relations between the two institutions, especially following the recent signing of a cooperation agreement, which establishes a strategic framework for joint work and opens promising prospects for coordination in training, research, and partnership fields.

The discussions during this visit also focused on ways to activate the provisions of the agreement and expand areas of cooperation, enhancing integration between the fields of media, economics, and management sciences, while supporting students’ exposure to both academic and professional environments.

This initiative reflects the commitment of both institutions to establishing an effective and sustainable partnership, contributing to the improvement of training quality and the promotion of innovation and excellence within the university environment.

The 7th entrepreneurship training cycle at the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” continues on its 8th day with Dr. Jamila Brahimi Ben Zaidoun, focusing on the legal framework of the enterprise.

During this session, trainees were introduced to all key aspects related to the legal status of companies and the essential steps for establishing an economic enterprise, providing them with a clearer understanding of the regulatory and administrative procedures required to launch their projects.

The school extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Jamila Brahimi Ben Zaidoun for her valuable contribution and the richness of the content delivered to the trainees.

End-of-Year Deliberations Successfully Concluded

In an atmosphere marked by discipline and seriousness, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” has successfully concluded its annual deliberations, held under well-organized conditions that reflected the significant efforts and strong sense of collective responsibility.
