Launching the Transition Toward a Fourth-Generation (4.0) University Model at the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences

In line with the transformations taking place in the higher education and scientific research sector and in support of modernization and digitalization efforts, the Director of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—Imhamed Yazid, Professor Khaled Laalaoui—oversaw the installation of the committee responsible for initiating the transition toward the Fourth-Generation University Model (4.0).

This initiative aligns with the national strategy for developing Algerian universities by strengthening digitalization, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, and advancing education and research in accordance with the requirements of the knowledge economy.

This orientation aims to enhance scientific partnerships, foster openness to both the national and international environments, and develop digital services and platforms while improving institutional performance. It seeks to reinforce the school’s position as a leading academic institution in the fields of media and communication.

This process represents an important step toward building a modern and innovative university capable of meeting future challenges and serving society.
