The Visibility and Ranking Enhancement Cell of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences—Imhamed Yaziz—organized today, Tuesday, May 05, 2026, a training workshop for faculty members and researchers on the scientific database Scopus, under the supervision of the cell’s director, Dr. Meriem Laamoudi.
The workshop was led by researcher Wassila Chouarfia, who highlighted the importance of Scopus indexing and the advantages it offers to academic institutions, particularly in enhancing and improving their international visibility.
This workshop aimed to:
- Introduce the Scopus scientific database
- Train professors on search and exploration techniques within the platform
- Present scientific metrics used in researcher evaluation
