National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences M'hamed Yazid

The year 2025 marked an important milestone in the journey of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid,” characterized by a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of training, strengthening scientific activity, and reinforcing institutional engagement.

These efforts focused on revising and developing academic programs, with a particular emphasis on practical learning through an increased number of workshops and scientific events, thereby contributing to the development of students’ skills and their adaptation to the demands of professional practice. The year was also highlighted by the organization of several scientific events, including conferences and seminars, which helped energize research activity and create spaces for academic debate and expertise sharing. This was further bolstered by strengthening scientific output through dedicated research structures, consolidating the school’s academic presence.

In accordance with the directives of the supervising ministry, several scientific and technological entities were established, notably a technological support center, an intensive language learning center, and an entrepreneurship development center, among others. These structures aim to foster a modern learning environment that keeps pace with the rapid evolution of the professional landscape, while enhancing applied training and professional skills to facilitate students’ transition into the labor market.

In terms of student life, significant activity was recorded through the organization of scientific and cultural events alongside academic training, contributing to the enhancement of students’ skills and reinforcing their personal and professional development.

The school continues its efforts to fulfill its vision of training high-level media professionals capable of adapting to rapid technological shifts and actively contributing to the development of the media and communication sector.
