At the gracious invitation of the Director General of the National Institute for Comprehensive Strategic Studies, Major General Abdelaziz Medjahed, the Director of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” (ENSJSI), Professor Khaled Lalaoui, participated on the morning of Monday, July 27, 2026, in a scientific symposium organized by the Institute at its headquarters in Algiers.
The symposium, entitled “The Western Sahara Issue: Historical Roots, the Current Situation, and Future Prospects in Light of International Transformations,” brought together academics, experts, and institutional representatives to examine the historical foundations of the Western Sahara issue, assess its current geopolitical context, and discuss its future prospects amid ongoing international developments.
