ProtoMarket National Competition – Second Edition (June 2026): Call for Selection of Innovative Student Projects

In preparation for the launch of the second edition of the national ProtoMarket competition, scheduled for the end of June 2026, the National Committee invites all heads of business incubators in higher education and scientific research institutions to begin selecting the best innovative projects eligible to participate in this national event.

The proposed projects must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of the Business Model Canvas (BMC).
  • Availability of a mature prototype with at least TRL 4 (Technology Readiness Level 4).
  • Submission of an explanatory video or an online link demonstrating how the project works and its main technical and functional features.
  • A written commitment from the student project owners to continue the development process and move toward creating a startup.

Note: Obtaining the “Innovative Project Label” is considered a strong asset and adds value to the evaluation process; however, it is not a mandatory requirement for participation in the competition.

ProtoMarket represents an opportunity to transform prototypes into market-ready products, enabling students to launch their first startup outputs.

Incubator directors are kindly requested to begin the preliminary selection process based on the above criteria, pending further organizational details in the coming days.
