As part of its efforts to promote a culture of prevention and strengthen health awareness, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” organized an awareness day on breast cancer, bringing together medical education, scientific dialogue, and a personal testimony. The event featured the participation of doctors and specialists and was attended by Senator Dr. Djellal Boughandjour, a specialist in oncology.
The programme included awareness stands and an interactive lecture, as well as free mammography and ultrasound screenings organized in coordination with Beni Messous University Hospital. The event also featured a moving personal testimony conveying a message of hope and resilience in the face of illness.
This initiative reaffirms the School’s commitment to its social responsibility and its role in promoting health awareness, reflecting its belief that awareness dispels fear, early detection makes a difference, and hope gives people the strength to carry on.
