In a distinguished academic atmosphere marked by optimism and ambition, the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences “M’hamed Yazid” (ENSJSI) officially inaugurated the 2026–2027 academic year on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in the presence of the School’s Director, Professor Khaled Lalaoui, together with faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
On this occasion, Professor Samir Arjoun delivered the opening lecture of the academic year entitled:
“Digital Transformation in the Media Environment: Re-engineering Media Practice in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
The lecture provided an opportunity to open an academic discussion on the profound transformations taking place within the media sector as a result of rapid technological developments and the growing role of artificial intelligence. It also addressed the need to rethink professional practices and the evolving roles of media professionals in today’s digital environment.
The opening ceremony was characterized by a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere, reflecting the aspirations of the School’s academic community for a new year rich in learning, scientific research, innovation, and success.
